Living Hope is a multi generational church that believes in integrating all ages in mutual love, relationship and worship. Thus we try to incorporate the children into as much of the service as possible. The children will be with their parents throughout the opening announcements, worship, and prayer (and occasionally the entire service), and will then go downstairs for their own lesson time. 

Upon arrival parents and children will be given matching wristbands. No one other than the parent/guardian with the corresponding wristband will be permitted to sign the child out from downstairs. We will not let them leave without this safeguard in place. The number on the wristband will also be used to notify you during the service (on the projector screen) in case we need your assistance downstairs. 

After the sermon, you can either collect your child so they can quietly join in with any closing worship, prayer ministry, etc, or collect them as soon as the service is dismissed. We would ask that you collect your child in a very timely manner at the end of the service to relieve our hard-working kids team.

We can’t wait to teach your child the great doctrines of our faith in age appropriate ways, keeping them secure and happy at all times!

Our kids ministry is run/overseen by a childcare professional and all of our volunteers have full police record checks and have gone through the “Plan to Protect” course to ensure that your child/children are safe and protected.  We also have several volunteers with first aid training and have a first aid kit on hand.  

In case of an incident, we will complete an incident form explaining what happened and when, and we will need the parent to sign it.  If the incident is more than just a bandaid fix we will use our wristband numbering system so that you are immediately alerted and can come downstairs to assess.
